The Commuter Assistants host several events throughout the year including Commuter Appreciation Week.<\/p><p><a href=\"\/sac\/\"><strong>Saints Ambassador Corps<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0members assist the Admissions Office with recruiting new students to USF. Members are trained to give tours, phone prospective students, and host overnight guests. Prospective members are interviewed and selected by the Admissions Office.<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/stfrancis100.org\/alumni\/mentor-program\/\">Student Alumni Mentoring (SAM)<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0program was established in 2012 to bring students and alumni together to help pave the way for students to succeed at USF and beyond. Students are partnered with an alum whose education and career closely matches the student\u2019s to gain direction and potential career goals and connections. This program is sponsored by the Alumni &amp; Family Relations Office.<\/p><p><a href=\"\/sga\/\"><strong>Student Government Association<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>strives to bring the voice of all students to administrators, faculty, staff, and trustees to create cohesion and address all issues pertaining to student life on campus. The success and effectiveness of the Student Government Association relies on students actively participating in Senate, and Committees.<\/p><p><a href=\"\/university-ministry\/\"><strong>University Ministry<\/strong><\/a> serves the USF community through faith exploration, development, and practice. The four cornerstones of the University Ministry are prayer, discipleship, service, and community. Students can engage in small faith communities to discover more about themselves, their vocations, and faith; attend a retreat to explore their spirituality; serve others through mission trips or service projects like preparing breakfast at Daybreak, and build relationships with God and others through prayer and conversation.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-9523\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-9523\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Music Ensembles<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-9523\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-9523\"><p>The Department of Music and Performing Arts offers a variety of performance ensembles for a range of abilities. Performing in a music ensemble builds musical skills, expands creative horizons, and develops an appreciation of music that can last a lifetime. With this kind of interest from our student body, both a Greek Life policy and expansion bulletin were drafted as a means to bring Greek Life to our campus. During the 2014-2015 school year, the University of St. Francis welcomed its first Greek Letter organization to our campus community \u2013<strong>AlphaPhi<\/strong>. Since the installation of that first organization, we continued our efforts to expand Greek Life and welcomed\u00a0<strong>Alpha Psi Lambda<\/strong>\u00a0in the fall of 2017. We look forward to chartering more Greek Letter organizations based on student interest\u2013and we want you to be a part of that!<\/p><h3><strong>Alpha Phi<\/strong><\/h3><p>Alpha Phi is a sisterhood of outstanding women supporting one another in lifelong achievement. This women\u2019s fraternity enhances and promotes each member\u2019s development and learning by focusing on sisterhood, service, scholarship, leadership, loyalty and character development. Sisters share a commitment to excellence and strong desire to help one another and their communities.<\/p><h3><strong>Alpha Psi Lambda<\/strong><\/h3><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As the nation\u2019s first and largest co-ed Latino fraternity, Alpha Psi Lambda was established at the University of St. Francis in the fall of 2017. While we are a Latino-focused fraternity, Alpha Psi Lambda welcomes students from a broad spectrum of cultures, including Latin American, Caribbean, European, and Asian. Alpha Psi Lambda stands as one family united. USF honor societies include:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Augustus Tolton Honor Society<\/strong> honors the spirit of scholarship and leadership for high achieving students.<\/li><li><strong>Beta Beta Beta<\/strong>\u00a0is the national biological honor society.<\/li><li><strong>Delta Epsilon Sigma<\/strong>\u00a0is the national scholastic honor society based on Catholic tradition.<\/li><li><strong>Delta Mu Delta\u00a0<\/strong>is the national honor society in business administration.<\/li><li><strong>Duns Scotus Honors Program<\/strong>\u00a0challenges students to develop a deeper appreciation of Franciscanism and integrate it into their experience.
