The program will emphasize academic achievement, leadership, sportsmanship and community engagement.<\/p><\/div><div><p>The men\u2019s volleyball team will begin play in Spring, 2027, competing at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) level and in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC). The addition aligns with St. Francis\u2019 mission to educate the whole person\u2014mind, body and spirit.<\/p><\/div><div><p>\u201cWe are committed to building a program that reflects the character and excellence of the University of St. Francis,\u201d said Dave Laketa, USF director of athletics. \u201cMen\u2019s volleyball will not only enhance our athletics portfolio, but also contribute to campus life, school spirit and enrollment growth.
